I’m not sure I want to see any of my favorite series as movies, but if I could chose someone to play one of my favorite characters it would be Julia Jones for Mercy Thompson, are probably better actresses for the role, but that’s the best I can do.

In the summer I love going to car boot sales and antique fairs and find things I can transform and give them a new life :)) Plus the weather is really nice for reading outside, which I do a lot.
In the summer, I love going for long walks on beaches in the afternoon. Everything is always peaceful and quiet at that time of the day!
One of my favourite characters in a book series is Sam from the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater. An actor who I think could pull him off well would be Liam Hemsworth. (I’m really bad at casting actors for films, so it’s probably not the best choice imaginable…)

I don’t really have a favorite character, but my favorite book series is The Mortal Instruments series and Clary, the main character (kinda), already has a designated actress.
I also never really could figure out who should play Clary while reading, because not many young actresses have red hair (natural!) and I never saw anyone dying their hair for the part, but we’ll see how Lily Collins handles Clary!
That is true, not many actresses are natural redheads. I can’t wait to see the movie though because I really like the series. Thanks for participating in the giveaway.

+1: Would’ve loved to have Alex Pettyfer play Jace Wayland in Mortal Instruments. Alas, it turned out to be Jamie Campbell Bower who’s like in every YA movie franchise (Potter, Twilight,TMI).
Everyone was rooting for Pettyfer to played Jace. Hopefully, Bower is a good Jace. I haven’t seen him in Twilight Saga but I don’t think he was really visible in HP and the Deathly Hallows. Thanks for participating in this giveaway.
I prefer if unknown actors and actresses play the roles of my favorite characters in books, because that way it’s easier to believe that’s really him/her. I really didn’t like the Lord of the Rings movies and that was one of the reasons. On occasions, I do agree with that concept of casting unknown actresses and actors in “book-turned-movies” movies. Like I have no idea who could played Rose from the Vampire Academy series so I would like an unknown to play her.

I know it’s all ready a show, but my favorite series is The Southern Vampire books by Charlaine Harris. I always imagined Jessica Simpson: tan, blond, curvy, perky.
I like the start of the book series and I’m into True Blood as well. Simpson is an interesting choice because she would physically fit the part but I’m curious as to how she would handle all the danger Sookie is in. I think Karen Gillian should play Agnes from the book Wrapped by Jennifer Bradbury. She’s got the right body frame and of course, she’s got the spunky attitude to go along with it. And of course, I LOVE DOCTOR WHO, and guess what…so does Jennifer Bradbury. Uh-huh, she told me so in an interview! 🙂

Well, if comic book series count, I’ve always thought Jeeja Yanin would be PERFECT to play Cassandra Cain (Batgirl).

In the Summer I really like to chill in the garden with a good book. Books are so much more enjoyable when read in the fresh air, I find.
As for who I’d like to see playing my favourite character? Hngh, I don’t watch a lot of movies! I adore Tempi from Wise Man’s Fear but I can’t think who might be good as him, hmm.. a non-muscular, delicate man with short hair and they’d need to do a good Russian accent. Drawing a blank!

I’d love to see Prince Harry play both of the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter movies (since that’s how I picture them.) But he’s a prince and the movies are already made so that’s null and void.

I really like The Hunger Games and I’m not really familiar with the possible artists who could’ve played the role. But seeing Jennifer Lawrence’s transformation, I think she’d be a good Katniss.
