Emilie Autumn is one of my favorite musicians so I think she’s amazing. “Emilie Autumn is an American singer-songwriter, poet, and violinist.” She’s a talented violinist with an amazing voice to match. I would like to say she dresses in Victorian clothing and her flaming pink hair suits her very well. “Juliet” from the album Opheliac (2006) portrays her skills with the violin and her voice. And yes, it’s about Romeo and Juliet. It’s an interesting characteristic of Autumn; she is able to base some of her songs on literature works which is not as easy as it sounds. She’s quite capable of creating her own music/lyrics/poetry or she would not be as great as she is. “Opheliac” from Opheliac (2006) shows she has a powerful voice. Again, Ophelia from Hamlet. The first single she released was “Chambermaid” from the album Enchant (2003) and once again, the violin in the background sounds amazing along with her voice. It’s a much more upbeat song than what she usually does. Unfortunately, she doesn’t create music videos so all I can really find is the music. Fortunately, wingedzephyr from Youtube creates video with her lyrics and a picture of her so enjoy the following videos. There are so many videos I would to showcase but for now, let’s do these four. I will add more videos at a later time.
